Ces esp\u00e8ces peuvent utiliser des habitats allant de l'eau douce aux r\u00e9cifs profonds, principalement dans les r\u00e9gions tropicales\/subtropicales, mais aussi dans les r\u00e9gions temp\u00e9r\u00e9es. La diversit\u00e9 et le nombre d'ASP par famille de SSG et par r\u00e9gion sont estim\u00e9s sur la base d'informations variables, provenant en grande partie de FK. Les facteurs environnementaux des FSA et le r\u00f4le de la g\u00e9omorphologie seront pris en compte.
